 Campers will enjoy age appropriate skills, drills, and learn how to play all positions in a fun and challenging environment coached by current and former Vikes women softball players! Participants will learn how to warm up, run bases, field, throw, and hit. They will develop their skills at their own pace while learning correct footwork, body mechanics, sport specific techniques, as well as game strategies and tactics. Participants require their own glove and batting helmet with cage to participate. Full day camps will balance the time playing softball with a variety of other activities, games, and crafts.

Beyond The White Lines Camp July 22-24

This year, Joni Frei and her fantastic team have chosen to host the Beyond the White Lines camp right here in Duncan at Evans Park. The camp will run from July 22 to 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.

Joni specifically selected Duncan as a central location to help grow and promote the game on this side of the Malahat. While there are already great opportunities for girls in the Victoria area, this location gives us a chance to engage those eager players from the SVI family, while also making the camp accessible to girls from other Districts as well.
